Contract 2004
Shipped semen
- Fill out both the breeding contract and the shipped semen
contract. If you are unsure of some of the information (for example, the address
where the semen will be shipped to) note that you will send that information in
at a later date. On the breeding contract, check the blank for shipped
semen.
- Mail the top copy of both of the contracts along with a copy of
your mare's papers and the $200.00 booking fee to Ron Horn Quarter Horses. You
may either send a check of fill out the credit card form that is enclosed in the
information packet. If a credit card is used, it is our standard procedure ot
charge only the booking fee at the time of booking. If you wish for all or a
portion of the remaining balance to be charged at the time of booking, please
specify on the space provided on the credit card form. You may fax these forms
to 405.354.0520 rather than mailing.
- Prior to ordering semen, send the balance of the stud fee, the
collection fee and the equitainer deposit. If you are sending your own
container, the deposit is not required, however, you will need to send us a
credit card form to cover the shipping costs.
- Make sure that you have given the party that will be in charge of
the breeding of your mare (i.e. receiving center, veterinarian) the third copy
of the shipped semen contract and the copy of your hints for shipped semen
enclosed in the breeding packet so that they are aware of our
procedures.
- The semen will arrive with a detailed semen analysis form and the
AQHA/APHA paperwork. Be sure that the breed paperwork is filled out and sent to
the proper place.
Farm
Breeding
- Fill out the breeding contract.
- Mail or fax the breeding contract, a copy of the mare's
registration papers, and the $200.00 booking fee to Ron Horn Quarter Horses. You
may either a check or fill out the credit card form enclosed in the information
packet.
- Prior to sending the mare to the farm, make sure you have a
current coggins. If in the prior year your mare absorbed of aborted a foal, or
if this is a rebreed from a mare that did not get in foal in the prior year,
have your veterinarian do a culture on the mare and send a copy of the results
with the mare. If you would prefer we will have this done after the mare arrives
at the farm prior to breeding.
- Make sure you mare arrives at the farm with a copy of her coggins
and any additional information we may need to be aware of during her stay at the
farm.
