Ron Horn and June Warren knew their search for a promising hunt seat stallion was over in 1992 when they discovered the big bay yearling, Last Detail, by Jetaway Easy. The couple made a quick plans to buy him, convinced he would be their next big project. "We had been looking for a hunt seat stallion prospect for a long time — one that had all the qualities needed for a successful breeding horse: conformation, movement, disposition and bloodlines," June says. "When we first saw Last Detail, we knew immediately that he was everything we had been searching for, and he has never let us down since."

   Ron Horn-June Warren Quarter Horses sold the stallion to Whitaker Farms during his three-year-old year. "We had known Ron and June for several years and had watched Last Detail grow up in their barn," Linda Whitaker says. "He was an outstanding horse with superb conformation, beautifully cadenced movement and such a gentle nature. When we had the opportunity to buy him, we were thrilled."

   Larry and Linda Whitaker, of Rogers, Arkansas and Pinedale, Wyoming, watched with pleasure as the 16.2-hand horse continued to win hunter under saddle classes time and again at the nation's most prestigious horse shows. In October 1995, Last Detail won the Junior Hunter Under Saddle at the All American Quarter Horse Congress. A month later, he was named AQHA World Champion in Junior Hunter Under Saddle.

   Last Detail has been standing to a full book of mares every year since. "It is so exciting to know that so many others share our enthusiasm in Last Detail's siring ability, and we are thrilled that he is passing so many of his special qualities to his foals," June says. They all have the big, sweeping trot, the strong-hocked, slow-legged canter, and the kind , willing nature we like so much in Last Detail."

Detailed In Style (pictured on left) is a 2000 bay colt who resembles his sire in more ways then just the amazing likeness in their good looks. “Dylan” is out of a superior producing hunter under saddle thoroughbred mare. He is already qualified for the 2004 AQHA World Championship Show in hunter under saddle. On his way to an all-around show career, he has been started over fences and is being shown in pleasure driving. Owned by Larry and Linda Whitaker, Dylan will stand to a limited number of mares in 2005 at Ron Horn June Warren Quarter Horses in Oklahoma.
